Procurement Manager

Gulf Water Treatment Co. Ltd. is looking for a highly capable Procurement Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end procurement and supply chain functions for our water treatment projects, operations, and maintenance activities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the complete procurement lifecycle for materials, equipment, spare parts, chemicals, and services required for projects and operations.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives by identifying and developing reliable local and international suppliers.
  • Manage vendor negotiations, contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize commercial value.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, operations, and maintenance teams to forecast procurement requirements and ensure material availability.
  • Oversee international procurement and logistics, including imports, customs clearance, shipping documentation, HS code verification, and coordination with freight forwarders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and stock availability to support uninterrupted project execution while optimizing costs.
  • Track and expedite purchase orders, proactively resolving supply chain delays and procurement risks.
  • Ensure compliance in procurement documentation, import/export records, invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, value engineering, and process improvement.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations based on quality, pricing, service, and delivery standards.
  • Lead and guide the procurement and logistics team, ensuring operational excellence and process adherence.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics management.
  • Prior experience in Water Treatment, EPC, MEP, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Project-Based sectors preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international procurement, import/export procedures, logistics coordination, and vendor management.
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and project deadlines effectively.
