As a Procurement Engineer at Gulf Water Treatment Co. Ltd., you will be a vital contributor to our procurement operations, ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials and services required for the successful execution of water and wastewater treatment projects. Your role encompasses strategic procurement planning, supplier management, and maintaining a streamlined supply chain to support our commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and business objectives
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services for water and wastewater treatment projects
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish long-term strategic partnerships
- Analyze technical and commercial bids to ensure the best value and compliance with project specifications
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams to ensure seamless procurement operations
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Implement supply chain optimization initiatives to reduce lead times and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and contractual requirements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project schedules
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Sourcing functions within EPC, Industrial, Infrastructure, or Water Treatment sectors
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is an advantage
