PRO - Public Relation Officer

Gulf Water Treatment (GWT) is looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team in the UAE.

GWT is a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, delivering turnkey projects, operation & maintenance services and specialized water treatment systems across commercial, industrial and municipal sectors.


What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day government relations and PRO activities for the company.
  • Handle MOHRE, ICP/GDRFA, Economic Department, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce and other government-related transactions.
  • Process employee work permits, employment visas, renewals, cancellations, status changes and transfers.
  • Coordinate Emirates ID, medical fitness, biometrics and immigration-related procedures.
  • Manage company establishment cards, licenses, registrations and government approvals.
  • Monitor visa, labour card, Emirates ID, license and establishment document expiry dates.
  • Handle MOHRE-related matters, labour contracts, work permits and employee government transactions.
  • Support WPS and labour compliance requirements in coordination with HR and Finance.
  • Assist with Emiratisation/Nafis requirements and related government procedures.
  • Coordinate government documentation, permits and approvals required for project sites and client locations.
  • Support HR during government inspections, audits, labour-related matters and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate PRO records, trackers, receipts and government transaction documents.
  • Coordinate government fees, fines and payments with the Finance Department.
  • Provide regular updates to HR and management regarding pending applications, renewals and government issues.
  • Ensure all government transactions are completed accurately and within the required timelines.


What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of UAE experience as a PRO / Public Relations Officer.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labour, immigration and government procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with MOHRE and immigration portals.
  • Experience handling employee visa processing, renewals and cancellations.
  • Good knowledge of UAE government service centres and procedures.
  • Experience supporting company licenses, establishment cards and government registrations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple government transactions simultaneously.
  • UAE Driving License is a must.
