The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring seamless order processing, compliance with international trade regulations, and efficient transportation management. This role requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, clients, and transportation providers.
What You'll Do
Global Logistics & Order Management
- Coordinate and monitor end-to-end shipment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Manage order fulfillment activities while maintaining compliance with international trade and customs regulations.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Trade Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare and process Country of Origin Certificates and other export/import documentation.
- Verify and maintain accurate Harmonized System (HS) Code classifications for products.
- Ensure all logistics documentation complies with local and international regulatory requirements.
Shipping & Transportation Coordination
- Arrange cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth cargo movement.
- Monitor transportation performance and resolve any shipment-related issues promptly.
Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to support operational requirements.
- Prepare and validate packing lists, shipping documents, and labeling requirements.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure accurate packaging, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Vendor & Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the key point of contact for suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers.
- Build strong working relationships to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and proactively resolve logistics challenges.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Generate reports and analyze logistics data to support operational decision-making.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, procurement, or international trade operations.
- Hands-on experience managing international shipments and trade compliance activities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and international trade regulations.
- Understanding of HS Code classification and Country of Origin requirements.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/logistics management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
